Use this RFP Template to gather detailed, comparable responses from qualified vendors.
1. Introduction
Section titled “1. Introduction”Briefly describe who you are and the purpose of the RFP.
Example:
We are a mid-sized SaaS company seeking a development partner to build and support a mobile application aligned with our existing product suite. This RFP outlines our project goals, scope, expectations, and evaluation process.
2. Company Overview
Section titled “2. Company Overview”Share relevant background on your organization to provide context.
- Company size, market, product or service
- Technical environment (tech stack, cloud infrastructure, etc.)
- Project sponsor and key stakeholders
3. Project Scope
Section titled “3. Project Scope”Outline what the vendor is expected to deliver.
- Functional requirements (features, modules, integrations)
- Technical requirements (frameworks, platforms, APIs)
- Non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security)
- Known constraints (budget, systems, legacy limitations)

4. Project Timeline
